Mark Hamill’s Response To Female Fan Who Wants To Cosplay As Luke Skywalker

Mark Hamill, known for his role as Luke Skywalker, has gained popularity with his social media following, mainly for trolling fans and visiting children’s hospitals. He has become so popular that he has been given a new series called Mark Hamill’s Pop Culture Quest over at Comic Con HQ.

Mark Hamill’s latest stunt involves influencing fans to aspire to be who they want to be no matter their gender.

Hamill was asked by a female Star Wars fan on Twitter if she could cosplay at Comic-Con dressed as Luke Skywalker.

Hamill responded in the best way.

He said in his tweet:

Gender matters not when you’re rocking the Force like you are, baby! #FantasticallyForcefulFemme #JoltinJediJessica.

Star Wars fans often dress up as their favorite characters regardless of gender. After Hamill responded, several fans tweeted cosplayers who dressed up as Star Wars characters with different genders.

Its awesome to see someone like Mark Hamill using his influence to inspire fans.

Hamill is currently filming Star Wars: Episode VIII, which hits theaters on December 15, 2017. He will also be at Star Wars Celebration Europe next month.
