J.K. Rowling is now feeling remorse for killing major characters in the Harry Potter series. On Twitter, the famous author apologized to fans for killing Professor Severus Snape.
Rowling expected a backlash from fans for killing him off, and she apologized for it.
OK, here it is. Please don't start flame wars over it, but this year I'd like to apologise for killing (whispers)… Snape. *runs for cover*

Although Snape was deemed to be a villain in the series, the final installment revealed that he was working as a double-agent trying to protect Harry Potter. At the end, his sacrifice for Harry cost him his life.
Rowling previously apologized for killing Lupin and Fred.
