Bethesda Reveals Quake Champions

During E3 2016 publisher Bethesda has revealed the next installment for the Quake franchise. The new game will be called Quake Champions. Studio Director of iD Software, Tim Willits says, “Yes, Quake is back.” The trailer shows various warriors battling in an old-school arena combat zone. Willits went on to say that the first-person shooter is:

“A competitive arena-style first-person shooter for the PC designed for players of all skill levels. Whether you are new to Quake or have been fragging for the last 20 years, Quake Champions will give you the challenge and rush you’d expect from iD Software multiplayer games. The game features a diverse cast of warriors each with different attributes and unique abilities, allowing you to fight the way you want,” Willits added. “iD has a long tradition of supporting competitive tournaments. The game is designed for world-class eSports play at every level.”

More information about Quake: Champions is expected to be announced at QuakeCon on August 4-7.  Check out the trailer below:
