Despite the negative reception for Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, the DC Universe continues to move forward. The next project to undergo production is Aquaman, and production for the movie is set to start this week.
According to The Courier-Mail, the movie will be beginning production in Australia. They write:
“The filming of blockbuster Aquaman, starting this week at Village Roadshow Studios, will create more than 600 jobs and inject more than $100 million into the local economy as the city further cements its reputation as a filming destination.”
Aquaman will center on Aquaman as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface.
Aquaman is set to come out Dec. 21, 2018.
